Dr. John Milham, B.S., D.C - Founder and Clinical Director
Dr. John P. Milham, D.C. is the founder and clinical director of the state of the art Capital Region Spinal Rehabilitation and Chiropractic. As one of the premier specialists of non-invasive spinal care in upstate New York, Dr. Milham brings his expertise directly to patients in the Capital District area and beyond. Patients also come from out of the area, hours away, to undergo his revolutionary treatment programs. He is the Spinal Aid Centers of America provider to the region, focusing on the utilization of the most effective non-invasive technological advances, along with the traditional time tested techniques.
While treating patients more than thirteen years, Dr. Milham has administered hundreds of thousands of treatment procedures. Sought out by professional organizations for his clinical expertise, Dr. Milham has lectured to public and private groups, in occupational settings, and has been interviewed on radio and newspaper publications.
Dr. Milham grew up in the Capital Region before going on to the University at Buffalo for his undergraduate studies, and then on to the renowned Palmer College of Chiropractic for his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. He completed his clinical rounds at the Palmer out patient clinic.
He served as associate doctor and clinical director at two full spectrum therapy clinics in the Cincinnati, Ohio area before going on to own, as well as serve as clinical director and clinician for a clinic in that area. In practice, he has had the privilege of treating many patients from small babies to seniors, and even professional athletes. After moving back to the Capital Region to raise his children closer to family, Dr. Milham opened Capital Region Spinal Rehabilitaion and Chiropractic in 2007, bringing such an advanced treatment approach to this upstate New York region.
Dr. Milham is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the states boards of the states of New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. He has received national awards and recognition for clinical practice and for patient education and communication. He consistently continues to further expand his education and knowledge in clinical practice and stay abreast on the latest advances to bring the best possible outcomes to his patients.At Capital Region Spinal Rehabilitation and Chiropractic we integrate the most advanced state of the art technology and treatments to help our patients strive for optimal restoration of health. Our goal is to treat the cause of your problem. The use of Spinal Decompression for lumbar disc decompression has been very effective in the treatment of disc herniation as well as sciatic conditions and degenerative arthritis of the lumbar spine. We use physical therapy consisting of muscular stimulation, moist heat, myofascial release.

Medical Evaluation and Diagnostic testing procedures should be performed prior to beginning any treatment in order to determine the most effective process. After carefully studying your case history and exam findings, the Doctor will sit down and explain his recommended plan of action for you.
